Featuring in their new video commission are runners wearing a specialty line of sports apparel designed by DIS. The clothing is adorned with the faces of “fashionable” leftist philosophers (Slavoj Žižek, Bell Hooks and Noam Chomsky) whose portraits played a key role in the design of the pieces. DIS reinterprets branding and marketing strategy not only with respect to material objects but also to human identity, simultaneously posing questions regarding our contemporary aspirations connected with the cult of the body and the consumption of ideas.

Over the course of the exhibition, DIS will organise a series of monthly performances that they devised as a play on the convention of night-time mass runs. Runners outfitted in Thinkspiration apparel will take to Warsaw’s streets under the cover of night, running along unusual routes determined by DIS.
